Short version: this site does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. We ask for your preference anyway, and only use your browser's session storage for essential, non-tracking purposes.
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Decline, or Manage your preferences for the one optional category below (Analytics & marketing — not currently used). Your choice is remembered for your current browser session and asked again the next time you open the site.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookieConsent |
Remembers your Accept/Decline/Manage choice from the cookie banner, so it doesn't reappear on every page within the same visit. | Session storage (not a cookie) | Until you close your browser tab/window — asked again on your next visit |
Your quiz answers and current results are held only in your browser's memory while the page is open — they are not written to a cookie or to local storage, and disappear when you close or refresh the tab (unless you've asked us to email them to you).
Whether you click Accept or Decline, nothing changes today: we do not set analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics), advertising or retargeting cookies (e.g., Meta Pixel), or any third-party tracking cookies. The only external resource this site loads is the Tailwind CSS styling library, which does not set cookies or collect personal data.
If you opt in to receive marketing emails, that's handled as a stored email address on our server — not a cookie, and it doesn't require this banner. See our Privacy Policy for what's stored and how to opt out. Note: if open- or click-tracking is ever enabled on those emails (a common feature of email-delivery tools like Resend), that counts as tracking too and would be disclosed here and in the privacy policy before being turned on.
When you click a "Book Here" link, you leave this site and land on a third-party partner's website (a hotel, restaurant, or activity provider). That site may set its own cookies under its own cookie policy — we have no control over that and recommend checking their policy directly.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this page and add a proper "Accept / Decline" cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set — not just an information notice like the one you may have seen on this site.
Your cookie preference is remembered only for as long as your browser tab/window stays open — close it and revisit, and you'll be asked again. If you want a fresh choice sooner, you can also clear site data via your browser's "Privacy" or "Site data" settings.
